FallenLullaby's Tips To Writing a Reader-InsertOkay, I know I'm not the best writer out there, but I thought maybe this would be of use to others. This can apply to any type of Reader-Insert, but I'm using Hetalia as an example.
Tip #1: S-p-e-l-l-i-n-g and grammar! Believe it or not, these are very important. Bad spelling and grammar can completely ruin a story. Unfortunately, Microsoft Word is a bit of a bitch when it comes to grammar, so I'd suggest re-reading your story over again to check for any mistakes. Also, you can always get an editor.
Tip #2: Keep the character's personality the same! Unless it's specifically crack or the character is drunk off their ass, try not to make the character too OOC. I know it can be very difficult if you're writing something like NetherlandsxReader where nobody even knows how the fuck Netherlands would even react to different situations, but give it your best shot to keep the characters in-character. Yesterday, I didn't upload anything because it turns out, I failed to submit a health insurance waiver that would've save my dad $600-$1400. Four hours were spent on lectures, yelling, and self-loathing. Plus, he was trying to get two printers to work in time for school only to find that the ink cartridge was dried-up. Had to buy a new one.
I used to have a stomach ulcer in my second year of high school. How I got it, I don't know because stomach ulcers are gotten through blood diseases, but I've never gotten a blood infection before--or so I thought. But until I started taking medication to make it go away, I would always get this gut-wrenching feeling in my stomach whenever I felt upset, angry, or sad about myself. I always go about blaming myself.

You might hate me for my opinions, but I have to adress this.

Everyone. #CountryxReader is not an RP group. It is a LITERATURE group.

I check my messages everyday for my fix, and I get "OMG JOIN MY RP" and the such, and like 4 actual fanfics. I understand that this group is humongous and rather accepting, but for everyone's sakes, if you want a APH RP group, I can make one.

I'm sorry if I come off as pissed off or anything, it's just the Featured folder is absolutely clogged with this stuff. I won't remove it, but please take your RP advertizements elsewhere.

People really do this...? I am fairly new to DeviantART, so I really don't know about issues like this. Man, am I glad there aren't many RP's on the german fanfiction site I am. I would be so pissed... But hey, we have PWP-storys instead, yay! ...not.

I hope the people who post the whole RP-things stop it. I really don't think that is a difficult task. Meh. Groups are for certain things. This group is about Reader Inserts. Not RP. It is as easy as that.
